Documentation

Setup guides and integration documentation for SecureStack security assessments.

Welcome to the SecureStack documentation. These guides will help you connect your code repositories and cloud infrastructure for comprehensive security assessment.

Integration Setup Guides

Follow these step-by-step guides to grant SecureStack read-only access to your resources. All integrations use the principle of least privilege — we only request the minimum permissions needed for security scanning.

Getting Started

New to SecureStack? Here's the recommended order for setting up your first assessment:

  1. Sign up for a SecureStack account at securestackscan.com
  2. Connect GitHub — Start with a GitHub Personal Access Token to scan your code repositories
  3. Add cloud providers — Connect AWS, GCP, or Azure for infrastructure security scanning
  4. Run your first assessment — SecureStack will analyze your code and infrastructure for security vulnerabilities
  5. Review findings — Get prioritized remediation recommendations based on severity and impact

Security & Privacy

SecureStack takes the security of your credentials and data seriously:

  • Encrypted storage: All credentials are encrypted at rest using AWS Secrets Manager
  • Read-only access: We only request permissions to read resource configurations — never to modify them
  • Ephemeral data: Scan results are retained for 90 days by default and can be deleted on request
  • No code retention: We analyze code in memory during scans but don't store your source code
  • SOC 2 compliant: Our infrastructure and processes follow SOC 2 Type II controls
